Go shoppingThis year my oldest, who is 10 years old, began studying ancient history along with American history. We dedicated one term to Greek history, but didn’t get all the way through the spine, so we’ll begin where we left off when we cycle back to this period. I read some of the picture books to my younger boys at night, but they didn’t do a full study of Greek history. My oldest read Greek Myths last year, and this year he read the books by Rosemary Sutcliff. We read a lot of biographies from Mathematicians are People, Too and The Children’s Plutarch.
